I just saw PIXAR's new movie, "WALL·E", and I must say, I have never been so deeply touched or become so incredibly emotional from watching a cartoon (or possibly any movie for that matter, not too sure atm). I watched it yesterday, and at that point I was much more emotional about it than I am now, (for better or for worse, I dunno) but I'll try to talk about it with the feelings I had then.
First off, I love PIXAR. For the most part, I don't think they can actually make a bad movie. Some of them haven't really stuck with me all that much, but they are still incredible movies when you take a step back and look at them. I love how the company hasn't let themselves become completely taken over by Disney (which in my opinion, has made plenty of bad movies and any closer partnership with them would undoubtedly cause the quality of their movies to decline). Don't get me wrong, I love plenty of Disney movies, but lately...a lot of their stuff hasn't been the best :/.
But I digress, PIXAR is an amazing company and knows just how to create art on film. They are always able to go as far as they need to to make a great film...and then go farther. I love how they always fit the smallest of details into each movie, even little easter eggs of visual appeal. It's so sad how many people don't get them unless it's pointed out to them, but at least they enjoy the experience nonetheless. But I love the added bonus I feel I receive when I see these visual gems hidden in the films. The attention to detail is one of their strong points, and they always manage to keep that up in each film.
WALL·E is no exception. I'm not sure why it managed to touch me so much, but my best guess is that it appears to be the closest thing to an actual love story than any other thing PIXAR has done. My current situation love-wise may also attribute to how emotionally touched I was by this film; but I believe that's a separate part of it on the whole. I have not really been brought to tears all that much by movies, at least not in the way or in the range of ways that this film has caused me to. There are plenty of sad moments, and very cry worthy ones at that; but for the most part, my tears and emotions seemed to flare up more and more because of one thing--how simply beautiful the scene was. And not just the scene, but how it all worked for the movie. The use of imagery and short moments of character interaction and the detail used in showing emotion (mostly on non-human characters) is so incredibly amazing. When watching it, if you can manage to keep an eye out for the smallest of details going on through the course of the movie, I assure you, you will not be disappointed at all by this movie. I'm not going to spoil anything, I think it's better left for each person to see it for themselves. But I would have to say that WALL·E has overall been the most beautiful and touching movie I have ever seen. I may just be crazy, but I hope I'm not alone in my beliefs, because if everyone truly sees it the way I did, I know how happy they all would feel.
If you haven't got the hint by now...GO SEE WALL·E DANGIT!!...If possible, see it with the one you love.

I really wish I could have, but we'll just have to get a rain check on that one. ^////^ If you wanna just see it online, I encourage you to at least try to see it in theaters, it's well worth it, trust me.

Okay..on a different note..E3, dunno if anyone else is keeping up with it, but yeah:
Nintendo:Wii's MotionPlus, I like it..1:1, I hope more and more people use it, that'll be really cool(though some people with epilepsy may disagree). Mic for the Wii...FINALLY..not a headset, but it'll work I suppose. They better be talking about some sort of storage space on the Wii later this week or I declare them all rather lame peeps - 3-..
Sony:..cool, but I'm still not coming over to your side, you got plenty of room to grow before you win me back over D:<
Microsoft:..I dunno what those morons complaining about your presentation are talking about, but I thought it was pretty cool. I'm getting closer and closer to joining you guys and all these new changes are certainly nice (other than the interface, I actually like it how it is, sooo don't go that far to change it, it looks kinda lame..) If there's a price drop that's big enough (as most are expecting them to come for all systems) I'll probably be getting myself a 360

Anywho, E3's pretty cool, I just hope Nintendo keeps letting out some more and better bits of info later on in the week.
